Our company celebrated its 29th anniversary of existence just recently. A hundred employees and our 3 big bosses had our party last night. Food, drinks, music, games and prizes high lighted the gathering. The major prizes included a brand new Ford Escapade, Las Vegas vacations and Sonny Bravias. Unfortunately, I didn’t won any of those, but I was lucky enough to get a cash prize under my chair! It was one of the surprises. The celebration ended with fireworks. Cool huh?!

The 34th wedding anniversary!

After almost a half day of searching the entire mall for my mom’s 34th wedding anniversary gift for my dad, we finally bought an art set. My mom remembered that my dad used to have the hobby of sketching her face when they were younger. Maybe dad got so busy with things that’s why he had stopped drawing. Anyway, dad got so excited when he saw the art set from my mom that he forgot the religious jewelry he bought for her. He immediately put them into place and started drawing. When I asked dad what’s his gift for my mom, he turned red and started apologizing to my mom! I got them laughing when I commented that forgetting to give his gift will let him not to forget their 34th wedding anniversary!

Every second Saturday of the month, my whole family meet and gather for dinner. Me and my siblings together with our mom prepare the most sumptuous dinner for everyone- burgers and sweets for the kids, appetizers, main dishes and wine for us adults. We usually cook the new recipes we learn from the cooking TV shows, like experimenting on the ingredients. For the wine, we would always buy the wine of the month which is the sale for the month from the nearby wine shop. So every gathering we always taste something new. Its really fun to be experimenting on things. Aside from saving some amount of money, we always learn a lot of useful information and at the same time gathering every now and then can tightens our family bond.
