Starting a new

17 Sep

Last night I was not yet sleepy so I open the television. I was looking for a good program but I cant find one. I played the remote control and I came to this women talk show. Their topic was about there problem husband. One of the guest has overcome the trials in their marriage. Her husband was an alcoholic before. She sited a lot of consequences she suffered with his kids and their marriage. But through the help of her friends and family they was able to convince her husband to undergo an alcohol rehab. From then on her husband has given a new life to start with his family and now he works hard for the best of his family. If you knows someone who really needs help like this extend your help by convincing them to start a new life in a drug treatment center. Which they can find their new selves and be on the real world with full of love and acceptance from their friends and love ones.

Weekend Hiking

12 Sep

Hubby is a fan of binoculars the latest he got was this Nikon binoculars. He used them for his wandering or hiking during weekends. Last weekend I went with him since the weather is good. It is also a great exercise for me and that I can burn a lot of calories. The place we reach was a hill over looking a city. It was a great experience reaching the top with all your efforts.

Antique shop

08 Sep

I was curious about the antique shop that was newly opened 3 blocks away from our house. The store’s name is “Antiques for a Cause”. My cousin who just visited the antique shop said that, there are so many antique products that were displayed and the displays have their own history to tell. So I decided to check out the shop. I was so amazed, that I even bought antique wind chimes. I bought the wind chimes because they attracted me. It was designed with luminous little stars and dolphins with a tribal design on it’s surface. It was so unique so I bought it. I thought it would fit my room’s theme. It’s history is that the owner bought it in an Indonesian store when she went for a vacation at Bali . She had to sell it for $1000 to the antique collector because she has to collect money for the chemotherapy of her mom who was diagnosed with breast cancer. The wind chimes had a sad story but I was inspired to buy it because of it’s history.
