Last weekend came home from the city and she brought a lot of coffee pods which I think it would be our stock till she come home again next week lol. We had a great time with her since it’s grandma’s birthday she cooked for our lunch and I just helped her in the preparation. She is the best cook in our family so we enjoyed her delicious specialties. Grandma was very happy too with her visitors most of them are her friends. They also enjoyed the food and advised my sister to put up her own catering company in town. I wish my sister will think more about that.

Hosting lunch

My friend is planning to come for a visit this weekend since she got a vacation leave from her work. She has less work this time because of the new management in their company. They have more technological programs now including a mozy, an online security backup software. Anyway, I’m planning to prepare a lunch for her and she said that I should not be worry in preparing since she will bring something. But being a host I should still prepare for our lunch.
I went to shop this morning for the rest ingredients of the meal I will prepare. At the shop I saw my other friend and told her that Lean is coming for a visit this weekend. She was delighted and I invited her to come also. She said she will also prepare something for all of us , I told her to made a special and delicious dessert. She also plan to buy a presence for her god daughter which she didn’t saw for a long time. When we were up with the shopping, we ended up going to the café shop to talk a little longer. She informed me about her daughters plan in going college and about her husband undecided work if he will be transfer for a new location. If that so, they will also be relocated. She hoped that her husband company will decide soon so she can have peace of mind already. We bade goodbye assuring her that everything will be fine soon.

I visited the new house of my friend last Saturday and I was surprise how beautifully the house was. The furniture and including the switchplates are very elegant. They have a combination of new and antique theme and I love mostly the fire place area, it has an entertainment corner. I like best the kitchen which has a wide space and lots of cabinets for the kitchen wares. I am excited for her garden soon since it will be landscaped on spring and she wished to have a pergola for summer grill nights with friends and family. What a wonderful that was!
