I visited the new house of my friend last Saturday and I was surprise how beautifully the house was. The furniture and including the switchplates are very elegant. They have a combination of new and antique theme and I love mostly the fire place area, it has an entertainment corner. I like best the kitchen which has a wide space and lots of cabinets for the kitchen wares. I am excited for her garden soon since it will be landscaped on spring and she wished to have a pergola for summer grill nights with friends and family. What a wonderful that was!

Winter time

Holidays were over and up to this time we don’t have yet snow. We just wished for a white Christmas and still hoping it will fall one of these days. If there will be snow this year, I will miss using my electric blanket which is very comfy during those freezing moments. Anyway, how are your holidays? I hope you had a great time just like us. I have a fabulous celebration with my family and love ones. Oh the gifts are too and the foods of course lol.

My aunt and my cousin asked me to help her renovate the guess room in her house. We spent the whole weekend painting, arranging the furniture, putting stuffs, decorating, etc. It was mostly fun because there was so much creativity in our ideas. We came up with a nice Mediterranean style. The only difficult thing to do was reaching for the higher places of the room. We don’t have a higher ladder than two step stools. But again our resourcefulness came in handy. Ladders can be substituted by tables plus chairs and two step stools. You just have to be careful.
It feels so great to see the finished product of your efforts. The newly renovated guess room looks way better than its original style. It’s now more classy and homey. I wish to be a regular guess in my aunt’s house.
