A friend asked me what will be my wish gift to receive from her on my birthday. I told her, I wish to have a pair of diamonds or even loose diamonds. LOL! She was surprised and told me to wish what she can afford. Seriously, I am not pleased with expensive gifts. I am contented that you remember my day and greeted me with your loving thoughts and wishes. I am not wishing to receive any material gift on my birthday instead I wish that all of us are always healthy and in good condition.
Last weekend, I went at the supermarket two hours before it closes. There were still a lot of people in the store and I wonder if they have changed already their counter system with a new barcode scanner. I thought there will be long lines at the cashier counter. I checked out first the counters if there were a lot of people but gladly there was a fast flow of payment. I shopped for our week’s groceries and in just half an hour I was done with my shopping. And when I went home they were surprised that I didn’t take a long time shopping. I just reasoned out that I listed my grocery item that’s why. LOL!
My friend had invited us all for a thanks giving dinner at his house tonight. It’s been so long since we all saw each other because of our busy schedules. Since he started his new business, we haven’t seen him because every time we invite him, he always say he can’t go out because he is fixing something at his store. I believed he had sacrificed for the business he had worked hard for.
My friend has started business last year and we are so glad to know that he is doing very well despite the global financial crisis. Having been a businessman ever since and inspired those expertise in business is highly sought, he put up another business he had in mind. We are all praying for a larger market soon. I just hope that he could save enough for his family, with his businesses.
