My cousin invited everyone in my family to try her new spa massage at her newly opened branch near our place. The summer stress had been with me and I guess it’s good to have a relaxing afternoon tomorrow. I will be with my mom and my sister in visiting her spa.
I remember how my cousin started a different life. We were still in college when she failed a major exam in accounting. She knew she was not really happy with her course but she wanted to obey her parent’s wish, since she was the only heir to their family business. Being a spa addict that she was, she wanted to give up accounting to enroll in Physical therapy because she always wanted to have her own Spa business. Fascinated on the relaxing methods of the spa, she really wanted to pursue what she wanted. After failing that exam, she knew she had to make a decision. In the end, her love for her parents prevailed. She continued with her accounting course but with a different perspective in mind.

A friend asked me what will be my wish gift to receive from her on my birthday. I told her, I wish to have a pair of diamonds or even loose diamonds. LOL! She was surprised and told me to wish what she can afford. Seriously, I am not pleased with expensive gifts. I am contented that you remember my day and greeted me with your loving thoughts and wishes. I am not wishing to receive any material gift on my birthday instead I wish that all of us are always healthy and in good condition.

Last weekend, I went at the supermarket two hours before it closes. There were still a lot of people in the store and I wonder if they have changed already their counter system with a new barcode scanner. I thought there will be long lines at the cashier counter. I checked out first the counters if there were a lot of people but gladly there was a fast flow of payment. I shopped for our week’s groceries and in just half an hour I was done with my shopping. And when I went home they were surprised that I didn’t take a long time shopping. I just reasoned out that I listed my grocery item that’s why. LOL!
